Gili Islands Wedding Photographer
André has visited Bali for two weeks, and this is his words and pictures from the trip. Because of the amount of pictures we will divide them into three or four blog posts, and we’ll start with the Gili Islands.
Gili Islands is one hell of an amazing place. It’s just like those magic little islands you see on the tv, or read about in the paper. You have Gili Trawangan, where you find the party-people. You have Gili Meno, which is smaller and not as much party. And you have Gili Air, which is the one with most local people. And that’s where we went first on our Bali trip. Near the beach you will find the ”tourist road”, restaurants, bungalows and small shops. But if you take a walk into the middle of the island you will find the village where the locals live. Kind, friendly people. They may live easy compared to us, and you may think that they are pretty poor. But I think that the way they live is far more better than ours. Even though their standard isn’t what we’re used to in Sweden I think they have a far better life than us.
Without stress. Just living their life.
We would love to shoot a wedding here. We HAVE to shoot a wedding here. It’s simply a magic place.
